The VA Medical Center in Northport offers a wide range of medical, surgical, mental health, physical rehabilitation, vocational/employment, substance abuse, pharmacy, aging and women’s services. Most honorably discharged wartime and peacetime veterans are eligible for VA care.
The Veterans Health Alliance informs veterans of the availability of benefits and services, provides training for veterans, family members, and social service providers, conducts advocacy with elected officials regarding the need for veteran services, and provides direct services and peer support to veterans and their families.
Provides free legal counseling services to veterans at bi-annual events. Assistance is only available on the event date and an appointment is necessary.
